How Does It Work?

Decide what program best suits your goal! We currently have 3 on offer that are creating amazing results for our clients around the globe.

These include: BETTERstrength (can be done from home or gym); BETTERshape (can be done from home or gym); and BETTERfitness (done from home - or anywhere you find appropriate!).

Our programs will keep you motivated and enjoying the journey! Designed to your goal and preferences, We have also ensured our plans and workouts are fun, sustainable and progress suitably! This helps keep motivation high and results continuous!

Most people 'drop off' their plans due to boredom, lack of results or because they attempted a plan that was not sustainable.

You will find these programs take care of ALL of these factors and more!


Plans That Work For You

Generic plans don't work. They don't take into account that we are all different with different needs and preferences. We all have different schedules and time available to exercise, different preferences over gym or home workouts, ability levels, caloric needs, food likes and dislikes.....We could go on forever. We are all so unique!

BETTER YOURSELF have taken this all into account and ensured our plans will be built to suit you. While the foundation of your plan is based on the program you choose, we go a step further to personalise it around your abilities, injuries, workout timeframes and more.

CURRENT PROGRAMS

Our strength program is designed to help you gain strength and increase lean muscle in all areas! Splitting muscle groups over the amount of training days that you can comit to, we implement progressive overload to ensure plataeus are avoided and growth & strength is enhanced! This can be done from the gym utilising all common commercial gym eqipment or, from home with minimal equipment. Better Strength is for you if you wish to get stronger and grow!

Our Shape program is designed to help shape, tone and define your body. With an emphasis on resistance training AND cardiovascular training we target both: muscle gain + maintenance AND fat loss. Combined with correct nutrition, this program will help enhance your overall fitness and shape. Better Shape can be programmed for the gym or from home with  minimal equipment.

Want to feel fitter and have more energy? This one's for you! With our quick 30 minute fitness sessions you can do anywhere, you will get a sweat on, increase your daily output and get a decent dose of endorphins! Minimal equipment required, circuit style training! 

Most people enjoy this program from home so they can easily squeeze in the 30 minutes between errands but our clients also enjoy these sessions at their local park, beach or gym floor.

Bridget and Pierce are the friendly (and fit!) faces behind BETTER YOURSELF. Bridget, Kiwi gal, and Pierce Canadian bloke, are not only in love with each other but in love with health and fitness. It was obvious to them what they wanted to pour their energy into: their first baby - BETTER YOURSELF aka BY.

Bridget is a qualified personal trainer, sports nutrition coach and pre & postnatal coach. Kicking it off in the industry in 2009, she is well experienced.

Pierce is naturally business-savvy and has vast knowledge and experience in training for fitness and performance from his background in Basketball, Football and Athletics.

They each refer to each other as their "better half" and have always seen that as inspiration to always aim to level up and 'be better' for each other, for themselves and for their future family (BY may not be an only child for too long).

"Being the best version of yourself requires you to be fit and healthy, physically & mentally. Exercise & quality nutrition enables that" - Bridget.

FAQ'S

  • How do I receive the program?

    The program is available through my website in the members-only section after you have your purchase. Go to the services page, choose a plan, make a payment and enter all your personal details and I will start putting together your personalized program! 

  • Is this a subscription based program?

    Yes, the reason I have chosen to do this is so you can continue your progress as maintenance is so important. You have the option of a monthly-based or 12-month program. This means the programs are constantly updated with workouts and meals tailored just for you, plus continuous support from myself and my team. The beauty of this is that you are not tied in and you can cancel at any time.

  • Is the program available world wide?

    Yes! It’s imperative to me that anyone in the world can access this program.

  • Can I do the plan at home?

    We can tailor the plan for you to complete this in your own home if you wish! All you need is a set of weights/dumbbells. You would need to select "home only" upon signing up. 

  • Refunds and returns

    For information on my refunds and returns policy, please see the terms and conditions.

  • How do I cancel?

    To cancel your subscription you must email myself  with at least 7 days notice so that you are not charged again. Please note that when you cancel all of your workouts, plans, support and guide will be removed from your account.

  • I’m new to the gym - is this good for beginner?

    The workouts are entirely tailored to you and your goals. So if you are new to the gym, I’ve got your back with your very own personalised program. Choose weights that are appropriate for your fitness levels and gradually work your way up.

  • Is each month the same?

    No, each month is different. This will involve an increase in how much weight you lift, change of exercise variations, and changes in your diet that are constantly updated as your body changes. We need to give your body a reason to progress.
